Then it hit me. I have so much time to do quite a bit of stuff if I could manage my time. I also thought of all of the things I've been wanting to accomplish.
- Laundry, ha don't we all want to accomplish that?
- Doctor appointments for Bryan, he is now a normal Hardy boy, he is constipated! Plus I still need to get that second opinion for his tongue tie.
- I need to make dentist appointments for the older kids, but in order to do that I need to find a dentist that works with our insurance.
- I've been wanting to go through what feels like a mountain of papers that are all over the house.
- I still need to go visiting teaching. I really want to do this because I love the sisters I visit and I really like to meet with them each month. But in order to do this I feel like I need to burden someone with two of my kids and in the afternoon 4 of my kids. I feel like that is a lot to ask and it is hard to just call someone and ask.
- The list just seems to go on and on.
- Oh, another thing, a friend gave me a code to get a free 8X8 book on shutterfly. I am so excited to use it, but I need time to put it together and that expires in two days.
- I keep trying to exercise. I can use my air climber and hold Bryan at the same time, and I have a really cool stationary bike thing. But I can barely get on my bike and if Bryan is not asleep I sure can't get on with him.
Sometime this morning Jacob yelled down the hall, "Mom, I want to wear undies now." So naturally I asked, "are you going to go poopy in the toilet?" He paused and said, "Um alright I will." And guess what?!? He DID!!! Here I have been stressing that he will be six before he finally gets it. I know he's not trained till he is truly trained but he said what he said and I hope he doesn't go back on it.
Another cute thing happened this morning. Matt had gathered all of us into the kitchen to have a family prayer, Matt asked Jacob to join us and it was taking him a while to get out to the kitchen. So, we told Jacob that we would start the prayer without him. All through the prayer Jacob is yelling to us, "I'm still coming." "In 4, 5 I'll be there." "Almost done." "Kay, Papa I'm coming."
Well, Bryan is crying yet again. Guess I better get. Just had to get it out, on how my day went, little emotional. But I am grateful for my family and that I get to have the role of Mother. As soon as I get a grip on things life will be good again. It is a big adjustment having a husband home to having him gone again.
I will be getting a moby wrap in the mail soon and I think that will help. I tried one and it was wonderful. I hope Bryan gets used to it quickly. I do love holding him, I just need my hands.
