David loves to be creative.

He loves to make us laugh.

January 5

January fifth was also our 10 year anniversary.

We didn't do anything to celebrate.

Just stayed home with our beautiful creations (children).

David learned to ride a bike.

Jacob loves his baby brother too.

Bryan's first bath, I sure do have lots of helpers.

I have to laugh... our dishes never get done till we are ready to eat again!

I don't know how long it has been, however... Matt

has switched out engines, rebuilt the engine, changed this and that.

Well, he basically took the car apart and then put it back together again.

We are sooo excited that his MR2 is now working.

We now are the proud owners of two working cars that we don't own any $$ on.

I think this was his last poop before he started having problems.

We are silly but we find joy in our kids having blow outs!

He's Learned How to Ride a Bike!

Sometimes I think I compare myself to others too much. The kids in our neighborhood learn to ride their bikes at age two without training wheels.

Then I have to remind myself that we don't have to keep up with the "Jones". Everyone is different and we all learn at different speeds.

My kids learn to ride their bikes at age seven.

David learned because he was just ready. Emma went out back and acted as a coach for David.

And well, he figured it out.

He now asks to ride his bike every day.

He is still learning how to ride and look both ways before crossing the road. And that scares me.

However, I am so proud of him. And he is proud of himself. I think it's so cute that he sticks out his tongue as he concentrates.

This is really quite funny... Emma has been wanting to learn how to ride her bike as a two wheel for quite some time.  I tried but it just wasn't working.  So, I put Pa in charge.  I figured it would be good on their relationships.  But it just wasn't working with Pa helping either.  That is until she saw a bike basket with a new bell.  Oh boy!! Did she ever want that!  So, I told her, If you want the basket and bell then you have to learn how to ride your bike and then we will get it for you.

The very next day, she was asking Pa to help her learn to ride her bike, she was asking him so much that she was really getting on his nerves.  It was kind of funny because I made sure that I had no responsibility in this was it was all on his shoulders... that doesn't happen too much around here.

Well, he finally got around to helping her and she got on that bike and he held on for a moment and she was off, she rode from then on  without any problems.

I didn't think she would learn that quickly, I thought I had a couple of weeks at least before I "had" to buy her the basket. So then she had to wait for it.  Until we had $$ in the bank.
