I love this picture of Emma and Abby.

I always wanted a sister growing up with 5 brothers,

so it makes me so happy that they have each other.

I love to see them getting along.

Matt took some pictures of the kids.

It was going to be just a photo shoot of Emma.

But the others got some good photo's too.

Abby

The reason we were going to take pictures of Emma is because she got braces!

She has an over jet of I think it was 8 mm.

She was at high risk of getting her teeth hit and chipped or worse.

Emma

One of her first responses to getting braces was,

"I love them, I think I look good in them."

She also said that she thinks they just feel like she has a second layer of teeth.

She thought that felt cool.

Bryan, I love his chunkiness.

I really love that they have each other.

Jacob

He was so excited to get his photo taken.

I am also glad that these boy's got each other.

Jacob was done!

I think it was all he could take with the heat!

Need I say anything with this photo.

Bryan Has really been wanting to try food,

I on the other hand have been avoiding it.

I just don't like feeding babies that don't want to eat, or at least they don't want to eat what is being fed to them.

I have also heard that their digestive system really isn't ready for solids till they get their first tooth in.

I felt determined to wait till he got his first tooth.

I mean really, my kids have all gotten their first tooth at 6 months so it isn't that long of a wait.

(Now I am going to fast forward to November 2011, he is 11 months old... he still doesn't have a tooth.)

So, here's Bryan begging for my smoothy, I let him taste it, then he makes it impossible for me to drink any.  See that grip?

A couple days after the smoothy I figured I better give Bryan some rice cereal.

He loved it!

He was so happy that I finally gave in and gave him some solids.

He started to have better bowl movements, but that didn't last long.

We have a couple kid benches that were falling apart, so I had the kids take them apart so we could have one good bench.

We went to a lake close to my Mom's house.
