We had a lot of fun this year for halloween. First being, costumes were thought out and finished about 2 to 3 weeks before halloween. Grandma found Davids skeleton costume at a used store and boy was he HAPPY!! I made Emma's mermaid costume for under $10.00, and I didn't even use a pattern, I was boasting about that all night. I was very happy about how it turned out. Abby wanted to be a unicorn pegasus and Aunt Tami found that for her, she loves Aunt Tami forever now. Grandma also found Jacob a skeleton costume, but he chose to be a make shift Batman. He has to wear his cape backwards. I think that is interesting. And the mask, well, we found it at Target for $1.00 and he has said that it was batman ever since.

Saturday night October 30th we went to my Dad's ward party... they REALLY know how to throw a party! Pa made this shot!! Good job!
I saw this photo of me and my first response was, "WOW, I am BIG! No wonder my back hurts! Look at that belly!" Grandma Maggie who is right next to me dressed up as a Hip Pee.
The kids were able to ride all together on this really cool barrel ride. They wanted the youngest in front, but poor Jacob got grass kicked up in his face. When he got off he said, "I don't like that one." His legs were a little shaky too.
Then we went to our ward party and had some chili and hot dogs. Then we did trunk or treat. One lady even made balloon animals. Boy did she have a line! The kids loved it.
Right before the festivities we carved pumpkins. The kids drew their faces that they wanted and Pa carved them. They turned out fun. From left to right are the owners of the pumpkins, Abby, Emma, David, Pa, and Jacob.
When we went to buy pumpkins and Walmart and they were out! Then we went to our local farmers market and they were out, however Pa out smarted them. He found pumpkins that were all around the store as decoration. We were able to get these 5 we were all very happy!

All these pictures look like so much fun and I missed it!! I'm so glad you have a blog so I can take a peek into your lives.
Those are fun pictures! Looks like you had a great time. :)
It's funny how pictures kind of put into perspective how big I am too. It's like I have no idea before I see a picture of me, and then - whoa!
